Whether you're a biker, walker or rambler, canoeist, golfer or fishermen, you'll find Treks Bunkhouse is the ideal centre – especially as we're happy to share our abundant local knowledge of the best mountain biking trails, fresh water kayaking routes, and mountain-to-sea rambles, along with other 'secret' activity routes, too!

We're centrally located (no more than a scenic 30 minute drive) from so many activity 'must-dos' – such as the renowned mountain bike centre at Coed-y-Brenin, the National White Water Centre near Bala, and so many more. See our Where to go and what to do section for more detailed information!

Before conversion, our Bunkhouse used to be the Ffestiniog Golf Club, which was formed in 1893. It was known as one of the highest golf courses in Wales with many natural features.

Designed by professional architects and modernised, the family-run Treks Bunkhouse now offers comfortable, purpose-built all-year round accommodation. This includes practical bedroom space, a useful modern kitchen, and a comfy lounge area with wi-fi – and still with the most amazing, breath-taking views across the Vale of Ffestiniog.
